Colotox advertises itself as the “purest way to detoxify your body and cleanse your entire system”. They were even awarded the Best New Detox Product by American Reader Magazine. For those who have issues with Chronic Fatiue, low energy, constipation, bloating, weight gain, bad breath, and other problems then maybe Colotox can help. They say they can do this through removing toxic buildup and cleansing your body systems.

Colotox is not the first product we’ve seen to claim that they contain the most powerful and effective ingredients on the market. However, they all seem to contain the same ingredients. Frankly, the ingredients are not the most powerful on the market, and certainly not the most effective. In fact, Colotox contains Cascara Sagrada which was actually found to be linked to hepatitis and colon cancer. It has since been banned by the FDA in 2002. We suspect that this product has been discontinued, and that all websites selling it are outdated. We do not suggest any product that contains this ingredient.

Overall Impression of Colotox

We would be surprised if you could find Colotox for sale anywhere. It has most likely been discontinued due to its links to health risks. Even without the ingredient Cascara Sagrada it really did not have an effective formula. We don’t see how it would have been able to safely cleanse your system. Look for products that have a mix of gentle laxatives and fiber, and that can provide you with antioxidants.
