Based on green tea and acai, the Garden Greens Acai Cleanse promises results or at least the beginning thereof within just 48 hours. Apparently, it’s supposed to “flush the fat, detoxify, reduce bloating and water weight, help restore metabolism”, all with lemon, honey, and cayenne. Mostly, they are meant to relieve your body of toxins for a healthier and lighter you.

While it’s great that they have 500mg of acai, they only have 100mg of green tea. The simple fact is that acai and green tea are great antioxidants. They can give you some health benefits. But to attain those, you need at least 400mg green tea. Moreover, despite its many benefits, acai cannot cleanse and detoxify the body on its own. It requires other ingredients such as apple pectin, dandelion root, juniper berries, and senna leaf to help it complete the job.

If you are looking for a good acai supplement, Garden Greens Acai Cleanse is one of the cheaper ones, depending of course on how quickly you drink it. But as a colon cleanse or any other kind of cleanse, it doesn’t have even the basic ingredients, which by the way are extremely easy to come by. So we would not suggest it as a valid colon cleanse.
