Good Workouts at Home
Good Workouts at Home
For some people, going to the gym can feel like going to a foreign country.
With complicated equipment and people talking about unfamiliar things like “reps”, “sets” and “circuits”, exercising might not seem like the most comfortable thing.
Unfortunately, this uncomfortable feeling can lead some to miss out on the benefits of working out altogether.
However, since the benefits of exercise are too great to ignore, we’ve put together a list of some powerful workouts you can do from the comfort of your own home:
Start in plank position with your arms at a 90 degree angle and your palms flat on the ground. Then, while engaging your core muscles, use your feet to pivot your body right and left, starting from the waist.
This workout strengthens and lengthens your serratus muscles which frame your waist.
In plank position, with your hands on the ground rather than your forearms, lower your chest into the deepest pushup you can hold. Holding this position, bring one of your legs up to touch the corresponding elbow.
Not only does this workout work all the regular pushup muscles, but it also engages your core and your glutes, giving you that all over burn.
This workout also strengthens your entire body; the chair lift starts with your feet hip distance apart and your arms at your sides. Slowly raise your arms overhead while squatting until your knees reach a 90 degree angle.
As you return to a standing position, bring one of your knees to hip height and pull your arms down and across your body. This will tone your entire lower body while engaging your core and arm muscles.
Another way to maximize the time you have at home is to add a supplement to your diet and fitness routine. Weight loss supplements have come a long way since the dark days of Ephedra recalls, now they’re more advanced and effective than ever.
LipoFuze, for example, has proven itself to be one the best diet pills on the market. Not only does it have what your body needs to stimulate your metabolism, but it can also help you build more lean muscle mass.
More muscle mass can mean easier, and more effective workouts, not to mention a naturally boosted metabolic rate.
So if you’re finding yourself held back from weight loss because you don’t feel comfortable with the traditional modes of weight loss, break out of that shell and see what you can do with the right workouts and the right supplement.
