Safer Colon Review
Safer Colon is advertised to give you your “flattest belly” in 4 weeks by flushing and detoxifying the body.
According to the official website, “Countless people use Safer Colon every day as an all-natural method to gently flush away unwanted toxins from the colon.”
But is Safer Colon really safe?
What’s Under the Lid?
Unfortunately, the Safer Colon website is mute when it comes to providing customers with ingredient descriptions, let alone an entire ingredient list.
In fact, I spent a great deal of time searching for hints of any ingredients used in Safer Colon and found very little for my efforts.
According to SaferColonCleanse.com, which is an advertisement for Safer Colon disguised as an individual review, the formula consists largely of green coffee beans standardized to contain 50% chlorogenic acid.
“Green coffee beans are the major nutrients of this formula. This amazing formula consists of very huge quantity of chlorogenic acid. This acid is very strong and it is the weight loss complex which is found in the unrefined beans of coffee. Chlorogenic acid is also helpful for burning of extra fats. Green coffee beans also contain caffeine which is also very helpful in our losing weight.”
This ingredient description is worrisome for several reasons.
First, the spelling and grammar errors are distracting. If a company couldn’t write a proper review, then it makes me wonder what other shortcuts were taken when creating Safer Colon.
Second, the amount of green coffee bean is not listed anywhere. All we know is, “this supplement consists of capsules which are filled with 50% chlorogenic acid.” This amount could be too small to trigger results, or too large to be safe.
Third, green coffee bean is not a colon cleansing ingredient. It is primarily studied for its fat burning effects. While weight loss is one of the benefits advertised on the official site, the focus of the formula is to detoxify the body.
If I had access to a full ingredient list, then I’d be able to analyze the individual ingredients to see if they are safe for use. Unfortunately, information is limited.
Should You Be Worried About Side Effects?
Colon cleansers are notorious for causing negative side effects such as diarrhea, cramping, nausea, upset stomach, and intestinal discomfort. This is because many cleansers are formulated with ingredients that promote more frequent bowel movements.
Unfortunately, we don’t know what ingredients are in safer colon and whether they cause these effects.
Assuming the review on SaferColonCleanse.com is semi-accurate, then the product features green coffee bean. According to WebMD experts, green coffee has caffeine, which causes caffeine-related side effects such as dizziness, restlessness, stomach upset, increased heart rate, and headaches.
Consequently, you’ll want to take extra caution before using Safer Colon.
Is It Easy to Use?
Each bottle has 60 capsules, and should last about a month. While instructions are not provided on the website, I assume users take approximately 2 capsules daily.
What Do Consumers Say?
User reviews are limited to the fake review sites posted at SaferColonAnalysis.com, SaferColonCleanse.com, and SaferColonDiet.com.
All three of these reviews advertise the product rather than accurately reviewing it; this suggests the company paid someone to write these sites rather than having users actually test the product.
Furthermore, all three sites make countless spelling and grammar mistakes, so I can’t help but wonder if the authors were not native English speakers.
This casts additional doubt on the effectiveness of the product.
Pricing and Guarantee
Safer Colon is available from SaferColon.com for $26.99 a bottle. It comes with a 60 day money-back guarantee.
More About the Company
According to the Terms and Conditions page, Safer Colon is owned by Clean Health Nutrition. The official website for Clean Health Nutrition does not list Safer Colon under its product page, which makes me doubt the legitimacy of the product.
The return address listed on SaferColon.com isn’t an official company address. Rather, it’s a UPS stop that will redirect returned packages so the official company location is unknown.
However, according to the Better Business Bureau, Clean Health Nutrition is listed at 8902 E via Linda STE 110-174, Scottsdale, AZ. When I googled this address, I found a Bizapedia entry suggesting Clean health Nutrition is a Trade Name listed under Hyperion Management, LLC.
Hyperion Management LLC (also found in Scottsdale, AZ), has an F rating on a scale of A+ to F on the BBB website. This is because 6 complaints have been filed against the company in the last 3 years, and the company failed to respond to one of the complaints.
All this effort to rebrand a company to avoid poor publicity makes me question the effectiveness and reliability of the product.
Pick It or Pitch It
Safer Colon may promote weight loss and detoxify the body, but not enough information is available to verify this. I suggest all users consult their doctors before taking a supplement such as Safer Colon to make sure it’s safe to use.
